We filmed a low budget ‘news’ segment, featuring Olympic swimmer Dean Kent, based on the premise that his togs had been stolen while he was training in the lead up to the 2008 Beijing Games.
Using smart interactive, a simple online form controlled the outputs of the audio and video so that users could name their friend as the ‘Olympic Tog Stealer’, generating a personalised video that was emailed to their friend.
The viral was seeded to a list of 900 names who had already been active on the Samsung Olympics website.
In just eight weeks, a total of 220,112 videos had been created with over 367,000 views.
